Job Summary

We are looking for a Sustainability Manager, who will be responsible for post-consumer recycling growth strategy in the Market. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing initiatives for recycling and collection of used beverage cartoons. You will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

What you will do

As A Sustainability Manager, you will:

  • Contributes to the development of market plans and defining market sustainability goals including a 3-5 years recycling rate ambition
  • Leads the execution of market plans/projects in assigned country (ies) in collaboration with stakeholders like MDs
  • Identify need of collection/recycling investments/projects/activities and propose plan (recycler project screening/implementation/etc.)
  • Manages large-sized strategic projects, e.g. collection and/or recycling in cooperation with relevant partners (incl. recycler co-investments & customer collaboration projects)
  • Develops cooperation with relevant external partners like waste management companies / recyclers to improve collection & recycling and contribute to the development of end markets
  • Represents the company in industry associations related to sustainability (e.g. PROs)
  • Drive achievement of targeted Collection & Recycling increase and implement value chain projects, including investments and partnerships
  • Contribute to local recycling investment process including preparation of business cases and lead project negotiations
  • Secure compliance with recycling regulations/targets as applicable in assigned country (ies)
  • Provide data to secure reliable accounting and reporting of collection and recycling rates as per global methodology
  • Lead data gathering for assigned country (ies) on BC and other relevant materials to complete and maintain internal reporting like the collection toolset, RVC mapping, ... and allow for comparison with other materials (recycling rate, ...)
  • Collaborate with and propose opportunities for enabling Public Affairs, including exchange on legislative developments, and Communications to achieve the sustainability targets and secure business success
  • Lead/Execute local activities, and secure actions related to circularity / bio-diversity / climate targets
  • Contribute to advocacy work in assigned markets in collaboration with Public Affairs teams

We believe you have

  • At least 6 years experience in managing programs related to sustainability, environment and in post-consumer recycling;
  • Bachelor's degree;
  • English Fluent is required;
  • Industry experience in F&B, Waste Management and Paper will be a plus;
  • Good public presentations skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power BI.
  • Solid knowledge of social media.
  • Good communication and stakeholders management.
