Inspired to grow with your experience, learn and share with new colleagues?

Huhtamaki is a key global provider of sustainable packaging solutions for consumers around the world, enabling wellbeing and convenience. Our innovative products protect on-the-go and on-the-shelf food and beverages, ensuring hygiene and safety, and help prevent food waste.

We are committed to protecting food, people and the planet and are on the lookout for passionate and consummate professionals to join our growing team to help us deliver on our ambitious 2030 Strategy. We look for colleagues who Care, Dare and Deliver.

Huhtamaki is on a journey towards a data savvy organization, and we have launched several initiatives to carry us towards a digital future. We have already been building a centralized data platform in Azure with our partners for some time. Now we are enhancing our internal technical capabilities to develop the platform further. We have a very wide application landscape and vast amounts of data is still waiting to be integrated into our central data platform. You, as a Data & Integration Engineer, will have a significant role in designing and implementing these integrations and data pipelines with our development partners and our business teams. We will need modern and scalable solutions in our data sourcing and delivery to be able to reach our digitalization targets. Ols school point-to-point will not be enough here.

You will have a key role in designing and implementing integration solutions that cater for our rapidly growing data needs. Huhtamaki’s application landscape is wide in terms of technology and geographical location, so versatility and ability to learn is of utmost importance here. You will come across technologies and situations that you haven’t encountered before. The data platform is new and shiny as are some parts of our source system landscape with the likes of Salesforce and cloud ERPs. On the other hand, there are also old systems that are a part of the assortment and still need to be dealt with one way or the other.

One extremely relevant point to note about Huhtamaki is that the organization is global in a way that few others are. Even though the position and HQ is in Finland our business and counterparts are spread all around the world and culture is international in the very essence of the word. To succeed in integrating the data and applications at Huhtamaki you need to be able to also integrate the cultural aspects of the package. This journey is as much about building bridges in tech as it is building bridges across cultures.
