After a period of in-person training and time working onsite with your team, this role has the option to work remotely (in WI only at this time). In general, this timeframe tends to be 1-4 weeks. As a Web Applications Developer on the 4imprint Maintenance Team you will work with the 4imprint Technology Development Team to develop features for the family of 4imprint websites, internal workflow applications and customer facing applications. You will maintain, support, and improve functionality within existing applications and websites. 

The 4imprint Maintenance Team is responsible for handling bugs and maintenance tasks within our software systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure the smooth operation of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Here’s what a typical day might look like. (These are the essential functions of the job). Other duties may be assigned.

  • Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, Humility.
  • Investigate, design and develop a diverse range of software applications and modules, both for customer and internal use.
  • Write production quality JavaScript, CSS, HTML, C#, MVC, and SQL. 
  • Work with 4imprint Technology Development Team as well as various internal departments to assist with the structured development of our e-commerce technologies and internal workflow processes/applications.
  • Assist with the day-to-day administration, debugging and support of existing 4imprint web and applications.
  • Maintain a current understanding of trends and updates in your role.
  • Participate in training classes and actively seek professional development.

Required education/skills/experience:

  • Associate degree in Software Development or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with C#, ASP.net, MVC, web services, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.

Also advantageous:

  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps / Git for source control and project tracking.
  • Experience with Azure development.
  • Experience with developing mobile websites using responsive design principles.
