About this opportunity 

The Finance Analyst would develop strong relationships with all assigned business partners and EMEA markets but maintain an objective mind in evaluating their performance as a group. This position will report directly to Senior Finance Director – EEMA.

The location of your office will be Wrocław. We can offer a hybrid work model (2 HO days).

In this role, you will… 

  • Financial planning & analysis activity:
  • Design and develop new reports and reporting capability using Business Objects BI reporting tool.
  • Prepare Actual vs. Budget/Forecast analysis reporting pack for management on monthly & quarterly basis.
  • Actively support new business activities.
  • Enter financial data to Financial Planning system.
  • Improve the efficiency of forecasting processes and tools as required.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical problems, escalate and track problems appropriately and provide guidance on alternative solutions on any issues identified by working closely with the Business Intelligence team.
  • Identify Risks & Opportunities and provide decision support to Sales, Marketing and General Administrative business partners
  • Help to manage financial planning process related to EMEA operating expense. Includes review and rationalization of financial inputs for annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly reports and analysis on operating expense as compared to the operating plan and forecasts. Maintain standard financial metrics, helping business partners set financial benchmark goals as appropriate.
  • Cooperate with senior management and local level to ensure understanding of dynamics of business-related financial implications.
  • ASP analysis for EMEA
  • Other duties and ad hoc projects may be assigned.

Other activities:

  • Support the implementation of Global Corporate Policies as well as Accounting Treatment changes and US GAAP reporting. Identify accounting issues and assist in their resolution
  • Prepare Journal Entries for accruals posting in ERP systems and perform accounts reconciliation
  • Participate in finance related projects, particularly those related to ERP/systems transitions (for example, SAP)
  • Actively propose and participate in the process and system automation improvements

In this role, you’ll need … 

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant Finance experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field or equivalent experience, with a good knowledge of US GAAP
  • Fluent English
  • Strong communication and presentation skills required
  • Ability to interact with and influence senior management
  • Ability to prepare and analyze P&L components, with related financial metrics
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solver, system and detailed oriented with strong analytical skills, especially dealing with large volumes of data without sacrificing on accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects and manage time effectively
  • Advanced Excel skills essential (VBA skills will be an advantage); and systems experience such as1C, SAP, Business Objects BI reporting, Planning systems (Host Analytics) and data visualization tools
  • Analytical mindset and numerical capabilities allowing for proactive resolution of problems raised by business users
  • Ability to travel abroad up to 10% of the time for training and internal meeting purposes
