We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our Global Operations & Technology team. This role is located in Chennai, TN - HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Provides business and financial analysis and reporting support for Finance management and business leaders with minimal support
  • S/he is expected to have good understanding of the Indirect cost, various overhead costs and cost drivers in the P&L
  • S/he is expected to understand and execute the methodology of cost allocation by working closely with various Service Provider(s)/Business partner(s)
  • S/he plays an integral role in the allocations process, ensuring that it is smooth and meets the needs of the client services team
  • S/he will be a subject matter expert in our allocation system (Apptio) and Legal Entity Allocations
  • Exposure to Legal Entity accounting will be an added advantage
  • The encumberment will need to contribute to or perform analysis of financial transactions, Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Reporting for cost allocations
  • S/he understands the concepts of Asset under Construction, Amortization, CAPEX & OPEX
  • Provide decision support to management through routine reports and ad-hoc analysis
  • S/he in this role will work independently to accomplish his/her own assigned workload and collaboratively with other members of his/ her Finance or cross functional team in compliance with the approved process standards at the agreed service levels committed to in the Mutual Service Agreements

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • 10 - 12 years of experience in accounting or finance. At least 7 years of experience in budgeting, planning, forecasting, financial analysis, minimum 3+ years of experience in cost/revenue allocations
  • Strong written and oral communications skills in English is required. Bachelor/Masters Degree in a financial discipline such as accounting, finance, statistics, or economics; or local country equivalent is required. MBA; or local country equivalent is preferred 
  • Professional qualification like CA, CWA or equivalent certification issued by local area Licensing body would be an added advantage.
  • Apptio experience or experience with other allocation systems preferred
