About the role

The Shared Services Coordinator will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in every request and interaction; researching and providing answers to HR questions from employees; and completing data entry for shared services processes. You will be responsible for answering all employee questions and escalating as needed to the correct individual or team. Reporting to the HR Shared Services Manager, you will collaborate with team members on shared services projects focusing on providing the best employee experience.

This is a hybrid remote role, offering a flexible work arrangement out of our Vienna, VA office.

You Will

  • Respond to associates’ questions and calls through ticketing system within 48 hours of ticket assignment, ensuring accuracy and care within each response.
  • Manage assigned tickets and escalate more complex questions to the Sr. HR Shared Service Coordinator.
  • Answer ticket questions related to manager and employee self-service, I-9 completion, HR policy, benefits, leave of absence, time, scheduling, and pay statements.
  • Support I-9 administration, ensuring that field managers are completing I-9s for new hires timely and answering their questions.
  • Finalize new hire completion and approval for terminations, location, position and compensation changes within ATS and HCM systems.
  • Run audits to ensure data integrity in HR systems and supports data clean-up projects.
  • Upload and organize e-filing documents into employee files.
  • Troubleshoot system and escalate to Sr. HR Shared Service Coordinator with details on issue if not able to resolve.
  • Demonstrate integrity in keeping information confidential and follow protocols for data processing.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field is preferred.
  • 1+ years in HR shared services, people operations or HR administrative experience.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated customer focus and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to successfully prioritize work and ensure deadlines are met.
