Role Summary

Internship Term: 

Rivian internships are experiences optimized for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be a graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date betwee December 2024 and June 2026.

Rivian is seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to join our Marketing team for the summer. This internship provides a unique opportunity for a candidate enrolled in a Masters or MBA program to gain hands-on experience in projects focused on scale, insights, and innovation. The selected candidate will contribute to driving our social media presence, identifying new opportunity areas, and optimizing marketing strategies through data-driven analysis and modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and model the potential of new opportunity areas within social media platforms. Analyze current trends, user engagement metrics, and competitor strategies to inform decision-making.
  • Conduct deep analysis of past and future content to identify patterns and trends that resonate with our target audience. Utilize data-driven insights to inform content creation and distribution strategies.
  • Provide recommendations for channel expansion or innovation based on market research, consumer behavior analysis, and emerging trends in the digital landscape.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing marketing channels and recommend strategies for optimization and expansion. Explore new channels and platforms to reach target customers and maximize engagement.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to stay informed of market dynamics and identify areas for differentiation. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance Rivian’s competitive positioning.

Qualifications

  • Must be currently pursuing a masters or MBA degree at an accredited university, preferably with a concentration in marketing, strategy, or a related field
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for driving innovation and change.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Internships: The range of pay for internships is 25.00-51.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, and other factors permitted by law. 

Rivian provides robust wellness benefits, and a medical insurance package for interns, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
