Job Description:

Global Human Resources’ Global Talent teams help leaders shape Bank of America culture, organizations, teams and talent. Located in New York, the Global Markets Talent Executive will partner with key business and HR Leaders to develop business-specific leadership and organizational effectiveness solutions. This position directly supports our most senior leaders in the Global Markets organization. Key areas of focus include Talent Management, Learning Strategy, Organizational Effectiveness, Leadership Development, Performance Management and Employee Engagement.

This is a critical position with responsibility for ensuring the achievement of key business outcomes through the utilization of impactful and proven leadership and organization development strategies. The successful candidate will be an influential and results oriented leader who can develop and manage relationships across the company and with a wide variety of partners based on trust, teamwork and knowledge. 

Responsibilities:

  • Applies expertise in Global Talent to identify opportunities, strategies, and solutions that are directly linked to organizational and business goals.
  • Partner with business and HR leaders to deliver talent plans and talent management strategies that ensure strong succession plans and a bench of talented future leaders. Responsibility for title promotion processes as well as talent planning and integration with diversity strategy
  • Support executives in building/developing strong teams.
  • Provide and support executive coaching to key leaders in the lines of business.
  • Lead implementation of key leadership and talent initiatives and processes, e.g. 360 feedback, performance management, career planning, employee engagement
  • Build strong relationships to partner effectively with a variety of constituents (compensation, talent acquisition and other) in building integrated people processes.
  • Identify, develop and lead the implementation of multiple projects in a fast-paced, challenging environment with competing priorities.
  • Ensure optimal alignment between the business’ strategies, future state operating model and the organizational capabilities required to deliver on them.
  • Lead a global matrixed team; inspire a strong sense of camaraderie and accountability and motivate continuous improvements to performance.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ experience in leadership development, org design/org effectiveness and/or HR generalist.
  • Experience working in large, complex, global organization with a sophisticated client base. Financial Services industry experience required with strong knowledge of Global Markets business lines preferred.
  • Strong leadership and client engagement skills including the ability to communicate, influence and coach at the senior leader level.
  • Strong business acumen and highly developed analytical skills, as well as superior intellect and judgment.
  • Excellent project management skills, technology proficiency, systems thinking and quality orientation; performance consulting skills including ability to translate strategy into specific goals, tactics and deliverables.
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, facilitation, client service orientation, leadership, influence, teamwork and collaboration.
  • Track record of execution with high attention to detail and outstanding client satisfaction. Willing to play both strategy/planning and detailed execution role.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment. Able to navigate in highly complex, matrixed organization and comfortable with ambiguity.
