Job Description

The Home Lending Marketing team is responsible for developing engagement strategies throughout the customer lifecycle. We partner with several cross-functional teams to create strategies that drive awareness and affinity with the products and services we provide. We focus on our existing mortgage customers as well as those with other Chase relationships to give them reasons to consider us for their next home loan. 

As Vice President, Marketing Strategy Lead within the Home Lending Marketing team you will be responsible for building customer engagement strategies for Chase checking and credit card customers with a focus on upper funnel engagement, inviting them to explore our digital assets within Chase MyHome and chase.com while giving them reasons to choose Chase for their next home loan. 

The goal will be to improve our market share of existing Chase customers who currently do not have their mortgage with Chase. The role will include development of multi-channel, customer focused tactics including direct mail, email, ATM and Chase owned digital assets, including mobile. The successful candidate will be well versed in formulation of overall marketing strategies, aligned with client needs, business goals, execution and forecasted results. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies to identify the home lending needs of Chase customers without a current Chase Home Lending product using omni-channel approaches: email, direct mail, digital and social tactics
  • Play a pivotal role to develop and implement key programs and marketing initiatives leveraging propensity models
  • Review and improve targeting methods, offers and messaging based on ROI
  • Liaison for new data/model opportunities to further deepen with customers
  • Successfully manage, and influence cross-functional resources to execute initiatives on time, on budget and with quality
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Sales, Audience Targeting, Decision Science and Digital teams to help identify opportunities to engage the right customers at the right time with the right message
  • Monitor and report program trends and program results along with recommendations for improvements
  • Streamline list-based campaigns with digital strategy and assist with migration of list based campaigns to attributes and marketing automation tools
  • Coordination of production calendar and forecast for all marketing launches

Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills:

  • Minimum 5 – 8 years of progressive marketing experience in a financial services firm or large corporate firm environment, with a strong record of accomplishment introducing and managing successful marketing campaigns. Home Lending segment experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field from an accredited college/university. MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Strong Direct Marketing, Digital Marketing and Social Marketing skills
  • Self-starter with ability to grasp concepts quickly and collaborate with business partners for information to shape a comprehensive and successful marketing strategy
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills. Team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities
  • Highly organized with exceptional ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and make data/knowledge-based recommendations
  • Strong relationship development and negotiating skills; able to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and team members
  • Creativity and innovation with a focus on constant measured improvement
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships; lead through collaboration; recognized as a team player
  • Skilled and comfortable at working in a highly matrixed organization with continuously changing priorities
  • Proven ability to take initiative, influence others and achieve results
