The reimagined Vendor Support role for Life/Health New Business is a significant asset to our team. This dynamic individual will directly interact with agencies, shouldering responsibilities such as addressing escalated issues and ensuring vendors meet service standards. Possessing a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, this role will play a crucial part in maintaining smooth operations and upholding high standards across our organization. Additionally, they will keep our field personnel informed about service levels and play a key role in vendor selection, contracting, expense management, and proactive issue resolution. They will conduct audits to ensure contractual compliance, gather user feedback, and distribute vendor scorecards. Moreover, they will coordinate lifecycle activities such as incident management and compliance audits, while conducting cost and spend analyses to identify cost-effective solutions for current and future contracts.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL.

How does a Life/Health Vendor Governance Specialist make an impact?

  • Maintains effective vendor relationships to meet business-specific demands, achieve business goals and keep costs down. 
  • Identifies and manages critical contract terms. 
  • Adopts established processes and tools to enable ongoing performance and service level agreement monitoring, and validate the delivery of key contract obligations, milestones and deliverables. 
  • Partners with Enterprise Procurement to identify and implement strategies to address deficiencies in service and performance.
