Who You'll Work With
You’ll be part of our Insurance practice team in one of our offices in Europe (Brussels, Dusseldorf, Lyon, or Wroclaw).
You will report to the Europe Insurance Practice Knowledge leader and the global Insurance director and work closely with the full practice team in Europe and globally on all global initiatives related to Knowledge and Capabilities (K&C) as well as our European Practice coordinator.
Our Knowledge and Capabilities are organized across domains, functions and special initiatives – each driving leading edge service lines and being led by a highly collaborative group of partners who are passionate about bringing distinctive new capabilities to clients. You will work closely with these leaders to drive our capabilities management to the next level.
What You'll Do
You will establish a distinctive portfolio of capabilities for Insurance.
In this role, the overarching goal is to ensure that all our domains, functions and special Initiatives are developing distinctive capabilities and assets and disseminating them widely to insurance consulting teams. You will orchestrate collaborations, incentivize and recognize distinctive contributions by practice members, and bring an entrepreneurial drive to facilitating knowledge creation and dissemination. A key vehicle to achieve this is the European Insurance practice Knowledge committee, which you will manage and be a “voice at the table” to challenge, facilitate and advance our objectives.
You will drive the agenda for our regular knowledge sharing meetings. You will ensure that the are seamlessly executed and that the opportunity is fully grasped to excite the wider practice about the range of capabilities and assets they can bring to clients. You will create a sense of belonging amongst our thought leaders to their chosen domains, and attract talented people to or practice. You will support and lead knowledge development.
You will advise partners to help identify priority knowledge initiatives and support partners and associate partners on region-specific knowledge initiatives. You could lead knowledge initiative in senior associate or engagement manager like role depending on your interest. You will also work with global reach and relevance (R&R) team to disseminate new knowledge internally and externally by identifying channels.
You will manage knowledge infrastructure for Insurance. You will maintain and update all Insurance knowledge (includes global Insurance qualifications, LOP/case library) working alongside domain leaders and team members. You will own, monitor and maintain our Insurance knowledge collection.
You will collaborate with R&R colleagues and with practice leaders to ensure that the best of our K&C is represented in client conferences and publications. You will stay abreast of clients’ strategic challenges to help the practice stay ahead of its competition on insurance topics.
