Job Title: Logistics Analyst - Process Controlled Transportation

Location: Chennai, India.

Introduction to Role:

Join our dynamic Operations team as a Logistics Analyst, where you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining global standards and processes for the transportation and storage of all AstraZeneca pharmaceutical products. This role is not just about managing logistics; it's about ensuring the highest quality of our products and contributing to life-changing medicines.

Accountabilities:

As a Logistics Analyst, you will be responsible for processing and investigating supply and logistics complaints, working closely with Supply Sites and Logistic Service Providers to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. You will manage your workload to ensure timely resolution of complaints and prepare performance reports against agreed key performance indicators. Your role will also involve providing compliance monitoring support to regional & global logistics & logistics quality leaders.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years prior experience in the logistics area
  • Proven analytic skills
  • Good problem-solving/investigational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team player, with the ability to identify and communicate key issues for resolution
  • Good understanding of the business context, e.g. logistics, shipping, freight management, Good Distribution Practices, Compliance & Sustainability policies & standards, Safety, Health and Environment and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Intermediate, proficient Microsoft office skills.
  • Candidates should be willing to work in UK time zone"

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Pharmaceutical/Bio pharmaceutical experience
  • Good working knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in of risk & compliance monitoring
  • Experience in Business Process Management processes
