Graphic Designer

Are you passionate about improving learning experience through video? Are you comfortable asking questions? Do you like to create solutions that drive measurable improvements to how people learn? Does designing learning assets excite you? If so, Cornerstone University is looking for a Graphic Designer to build next-gen learning assets for our customers.

As a Graphic Designer on the Learning Design Team, you will be responsible for the design and development of visual assets and layouts for our learning content and assist with editing screen recordings into visually engaging learning tools. This role is critical to the success of creating cutting-edge tools used to teach our customers. As a collaborative member of the team, you will work closely with Learning Designers to create engaging and top-notch learning assets.

The primary duties and responsibilities for the Graphic Designer include:

  • Creating and delivering high-quality, on brand designs from initial concept through delivery
  • Creating innovative collateral including graphics, and digital assets for a variety of audiences
  • Designing and develop visual layouts and templates to be used in presentations, documents, and other customer-facing deliverables
  • Edit Camtasia screen recordings per scripted instructions
  • Working with peers and colleagues to ensure the design of high-quality visuals that reflects our brand and meets the developing needs of the organization
  • Collaborating with Learning Designers and other key stakeholders to drive best practices in learning and design

You’ve got what it takes if you have...

  • Proficiency with Adobe software including After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat
  • Proficiency with MS PowerPoint and MS Office suite
  • Additional knowledge of the video editing software like Adobe Premiere and Techsmith Camtasia
  • Prior experience developing visuals designs in a Learning and Development organization/team
  • An ability to adapt quickly to new technology, processes, procedures, and standards in an environment of continuous improvement
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet all scheduled deadlines
  • An excellent understanding of the importance of brand guidelines and previous experience of working creatively within them
