We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Manager of Renewals to oversee and drive the renewal process for our customers in the EMEA region. In this role, you will manage a team of Renewals Managers, develop and execute renewal strategies, and ensure the continued success of our customers. You will play a pivotal role in contributing to Asana's growth and customer retention in EMEA.

Your focus areas will include: Ownership of Renewal rate and providing accurate forecasting, define renewals and account management playbooks, identify process and tooling gaps, provide hands-on coaching, build strong x-functional relationships and team culture. This role is based in our London office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Along with most Asanas, you’ll work from this office in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. What You’ll Achieve

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Renewals managers, providing guidance and coaching to ensure they meet and exceed renewal targets.Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the renewals team.
  • Renewal Strategy: 
  • Develop and execute effective renewal strategies for EMEA, focusing on maximizing renewal rates and revenue growth. 
  • Influence our global Renewals program and take responsibility to scale the operations across our regions
  • Create the vision that can be scaled globally
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to identify opportunities for upsell and cross-sell during the renewal process.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as the primary point of contact during the renewal process. Proactively address customer concerns and objections to secure renewals and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer renewal status, revenue forecasts, and pipeline data.Provide regular reports and insights to senior management regarding renewal performance, trends, and opportunities.
  • Contract Management: Manage contract renewals, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and ensure compliance with company policies and objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and optimize the renewal process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and improve the overall customer experience.

About you

  • 5+ year of leadership experience in Renewals.
  • Proven experience in SaaS or subscription-based sales, renewals, or account management in the EMEA region.
  • Strong leadership skills with a successful track record of team management and achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Experience building and leading global Renewal organisations would be an advantage.
  • Data-driven decision-making and proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit. 

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between £103,000 - £126,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
