The Executive Post Producer is responsible for leadership and administration of the local production team. They are responsible for leading all aspects of production, including identifying production partners, timing, budget and sourcing of deliverables across a variety of accounts. This individual must have a great understanding of the creative deliverables across a multitude of mediums. They must be a proven leader, demonstrating the ability to educate, problem-solve and grow opportunities within Media.Monks.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can bring creative visions to life while elevating the work through close collaboration with the creative and client teams. Not only should the Executive Producer have extensive production contacts, but they should be someone who grows relationships with outside production partners while ensuring Media.Monks production processes are in place and are having a positive impact on the work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide a production partnership within the creative dev phase for creatives to lean on when it comes to craft conversation and feasibility conversation in early stages of creative development through executional recommendations around talent. 
  • Ambassador of Hermes promises, assuring that each project tracks to the brief and keeps, in collaboration with accounts, the fit for format/asset at scale strategized at the forefront through development and production. 
  • Education and socialization of ways of working and processes between MM and agency partners. 
  • In collaboration with Account to manage the intake process for new incoming briefs or project kickoffs, staffing of senior and mid level producer support per project. 
  • Be part of creative work sessions with agencies to manage production through creative development; done through weekly status and work sessions to make monitors and support creative to be able to deliver on brief and budget. 
  • Connector of craft partners within Mediamonks. Oversight of global director search as well as engagement of all post departments to select talent and ensure selection process as well as availability, for agencies to make selection. 
  • Manage / develop the pre-bid consisting of timeline, rough costs, and potential directors with creative input of agency creative team. 
  • Upon Prebid approval; oversight of treatment phase, bid process and packages preparation delivered by Physical Production EP. 
  • Oversight of project estimate creation in collaboration with BA
  • Key POC for Production Consultant to assure all approvals are in place. 
  • Partnering with finance - onboard new vendors, issue deal memos, ensure vendor payments have been made
  • Partners with business affairs for talent and asset management. 
  • Oversight and leadership in key areas of project, shoot, and post-production to manage agency and client through post-production approvals. 
  • Quality of work meets Agency and MediaMonks standards and client objectives
  • Provide account leadership from production perspective, while overseeing all productions per agency relationship from beginning to end. 
  • Developing executive-level relationships with agency and client. 
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of associate producers, producers, and senior producers providing them with a clear path within the hybrid agency/production model. 
  • Overseas projects wrap up with producers, business affairs and finance to prepare for reconciliation. 
  • Diversity tracking (currently being operationalized), overseeing the diversity and inclusion promise for all productions executed. (in front of the lens, behind the lens, and within post-production talent) 
  • Create and improve production processes/wow for Media.Monks' “agency model” can be immediately implemented, and based on monthly listening sessions with clients and agencies to continuously improve on ways of collaborating. (joined effort with all leads).
  • Produce innovative, and meaningful work - at the highest craft levels.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience as EP for at least 5 years
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills both in Spanish and English
  • Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented and capable of self-managing and multitasking in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Able to apply critical and strategic thinking
