We are growing and looking for a passionate, bold, and driven Trader for our Trading Department based in Istanbul! Are you the one?

What you will be doing as a in this role:

Manage the soft seed complex origination and trading in Turkey commercially supervise the asset planning and crushing activities and jointly manage the full oil chain with the food division to deliver expected returns and managing market risk effectively.

  • Jointly develop, lead and implement forecast strategies that oversee the delivery of BP targets for the full Oilseed Processing Division (OPD) chain;
  • Responsible for handling the soft seed complex trading including seed origination (local and imported) and product sale, as well as exploring trading opportunities;
  • Managing the crush assets to achieve the planned capacity utilization;
  • Jointly run Oilseed Processing Division as a full chain with the Value Chain Director achieving both forecast and crush margin objectives;
  • Follow Operating Working Capital usage and supervise proactively the collection performance of customers through the aging report;
  • Provide and update local Supply and Demand analysis for the trading commodities in partnership with the oilseed desks;
  • Closely monitor the oil industry together with feed mills, cattle, poultry and egg industries to maintain a deeper understanding of opportunities;
  • Rigorously implement a safety culture with the OPD origination and sales teams;
  • Work hand in hand with Execution, Supply Chain and Finance Functions.

What do we expect from our future colleague

  • University degree in business or another related field;
  • At least 4 years’ experience in Agribusiness with specific soft commodities trading with revenue generation responsibility;
  • Experience in Sales Operation/Execution is an asset;
  • Skilled in decision-making & negotiation;
  • Proficient English & Turkish are a must;
  • Solid understanding of the local market is a plus;
  • Excellent partnership with other departments.
