Description:The Lockheed Martin Corporate Strategy organization has a new hiring requirement for a Corporate Strategy Manager. Ideal candidates will possess the necessary skills, experience and expertise to help deliver the strategy, growth and planning requirements for our Global Business Development and Strategy organization, along with our Business Areas.

The Manager will provide leadership to a team of analysts who will focus on qualitative and quantitative assessments of geopolitical, economic, market, and business factors to support senior executive strategy decision making.

The Manager should have deep familiarity with aerospace and defense industry business strategy and priorities.

The role also requires experience in leveraging methods and innovative approaches to generate macro insights and formulation of recommendations to drive business growth opportunities.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience managing project teams, consultants, and enterprise-wide stakeholders that deliver analysis and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Experience mentoring and coaching team members on strategy skill sets.

Deep understanding of geopolitical, economic, and market drivers of defense industry demand.

Demonstrated familiarity with defense industry trends and dynamics, to include competitor strategies, new defense entrants, and defense-commercial partnerships.

Finance experience to permit assessments of costs and benefits of strategic risks and opportunities relative to financial performance and objectives.

Ability to combine multiple quantitative (e.g., data analytics) and qualitative (e.g., scenario planning, portfolio analysis) methods to deliver sophisticated insights and recommendations.

Experience developing written and PowerPoint summaries of analytic findings.

Experience communicating research methods, findings, and recommendations to staff and senior executives.

Masters degree in finance, accounting, engineering, defense studies, international relations, MBA, or law preferred

10+ years of experience

Aerospace and Defense industry or government experience strongly desired

Desired Skills:

Experience working with a multi-source fact base pertaining to aerospace and defense industry, industry strategies, industry business and financial health, and their relationships.

Demonstrated familiarity with Lockheed Martin and competitor products and services to assess the relative strengths of competitive discriminators, segment share, value chain dynamics, and sales and margin performance.

Demonstrated familiarity with US Government and international customer requirements formulation, budget processes, acquisition, and contracting methods.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
