Duties, Responsibilities & Other

  • Collaborate with the transportation team and subject matter experts to develop accurate visuals for public consumption.
  • Create eye-catching, attractive social media campaigns, e-marketing and presentation layouts
  • Develop and maintain attractive templates, brochures, digital and collateral materials
  • Layout wall-art public meeting boards and related materials for project outreach
  • Understand the strategic intent of projects and audience/client goals
  • Take project and event photos; and edit as required
  • Assist in the creation of engaging reports with custom tabs, graphic story elements, creative layout, etc.
  • Take responsibility for self-reviews and quality control of work products before submission
  • Develop a library of graphic material that will streamline our teams to produce proposals, presentations, and supporting imagery
  • Expert-level capabilities with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and AfterEffects
  • Experience using SketchUp 3D
  • Portfolio with demonstrated versatility across all multimedia software
  • Understand the strategic intent of projects and audience/client goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Pre-employment drug testing is required as a condition of employment.

Performance Expectations

  • Complete Annual Individual Training Program
  • Train adequate backup personnel to support your role in your absence
  • Attend scheduled Corporate Communications meetings
  • Comply with all KCI policies and procedures
  • Complete other duties as required/assigned
  • Create eye-catching, attractive logos, reports and presentation layouts
  • Develop attractive templates, brochures and collateral materials
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations for projects
  • Develop creative and innovative public outreach designs and materials for presentation to project stakeholders
  • Layout, design and transmit attractive social media posts including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Post updates and maintain content on project related websites
  • Design attractive document layouts for project related reports in both printable and on-line formats
  • Provide graphic design support to transportation group as required
  • Provide support for project-related events (including invitation and program development, badges, invitation list, photography, and day-of-event support)
  • Take project and edit as required
  • Work with outside vendors for printing, advertising, mailing and event space needs.
  • Produce attractive document layouts for project newsletters
