Post-Silicon Characterization Engineers are the primary technical resource and are responsible for core-level validation/characterization of each new Qorvo Power Management product (ICs).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with chip Design and Application team to develop test and characterization plans for new ICs.
  • Develop automated testing script for silicon bring-up and characterization.
  • Conduct IC characterization, and marginal testing against specifications.
  • Collect and analyze characterization data and generate reports.
  • Work closely with chip designers, production test, system HW and SW team to debug any issue during validation/characterization.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comprehensive experience with electrical systems and circuits.
  • Experience in Electronics devices, components validation and testing (e.g., compliance, system level debug).
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in technical English is more than desirable..
  • A precise attention to detail.
  • Below qualifications that are preferred:
  • Background experience with NI/Agilent/Tektronix equipment and Oscilloscope.
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python, C/C++, and LabView/ LabWindow is a plus.
