Four Seasons Resort Whistler is located at the foot of Blackcomb and Whistler. The resort is a five-minute walk to the ski lifts and a 10-minute stroll to the village center, making it the perfect location for a rustic adventure any time of year. 

Our guest rooms are spacious, beautifully re-styled in December, 2019, the refurbished rooms and suites pay close attention to the unique placement of Whistler – a secluded retreat, just an hour and a half away from the international destination of Vancouver. 

In December 2020, we completed a property-wide enhancement with the launch of Braidwood Tavern, a craft kitchen and social house conceived in collaboration with celebrated chef and restauranteur Richard Sandoval, along with a re-imagined SIDECUT Steakhouse, both designed by Box Interior Design. 

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is looking for Sales Manager in Training (MIT) who share a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our MIT’s have the opportunity to shape our guest and employee experiences by providing exceptional knowledge and service. The aim of the Program is to develop the Manager in Training (MIT) to an Assistant Manager position upon completion of the Program, subject to satisfactory performance. The MIT will learn the standards and assume supervisory responsibilities within the Sales department. 

In this role, you will: 

Administrative Support: 

  • Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, contracts, and presentations. 
  • Maintain and update customer databases. 
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls related to sales inquiries. 
  • Respond to all leads in CEVENT 

Communication: 

  • Serve as a liaison between the sales team, customers, and internal departments. 
  • Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and provide necessary information. 
  • Ensure timely and clear communication of sales-related updates to all relevant parties. 

Prospecting and Lead Generation: 

  • Identify and research potential clients and markets. 
  • Generate new leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals. 
  • Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitors. 

Sales Presentations and Proposals: 

  • Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients. 
  • Prepare and present proposals that address the client's needs and objectives. 
  • Collaborate with the sales support team to create engaging sales materials. 
  • Generate and analyze sales reports to provide insights and recommendations. 
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies for achieving sales targets. 

Negotiation and Closing: 

  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements. 
  • Close sales deals and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. 
  • Maintain a strong focus on both short-term sales goals and long-term relationship building. 
  • Client Relationship Management: 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. 
  • Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns. 
  • Continuously assess client satisfaction and identify opportunities for account growth. 
  • Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally. 
  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. 
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients. 

Documentation and Record Keeping: 

  • Maintain accurate and organized sales records and documentation. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all sales-related activities. 

Market Intelligence: 

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. 
  • Provide feedback to the marketing team regarding product and service enhancements. 
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis: 
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts. 
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimization. 
  • Provide input to strategic planning based on market trends and sales performance. 

About You: 

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred 
  • Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM software. 
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous in task execution. 
  • Proactive and able to anticipate the needs 
  • Strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 
  • Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • 1-2 years' experience in hotel environment with a passion for the industry 
  • Proven leadership skills 
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal 
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization 

As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our Laundry Attendant to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
