About the role

As a User Experience Research Intern at Gen, you will collaborate with our seasoned User Experience Research team to gather and analyze user insights that influence product development. This role is an extraordinary opportunity to immerse yourself in the field of user research, working alongside industry experts to enhance the security and usability of our products. 

What You Will Do In This Role: 

  • Assist in planning and conducting user research studies, such as interviews, and usability tests. 
  • Support the synthesis and analysis of research data to uncover user behaviors, needs, and motivations. 
  • Contribute to the creation of research reports and presentations that communicate findings to the product team and stakeholders. 
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and workshops to translate user insights into design decisions. 
  • Learn about and apply the latest trends in user research, cybersecurity, and user-centered design principles. 

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role: 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, User Experience, Sociology, Ethnography, or a related field. 
  • A keen interest in user research and user-centered design, particularly in the context of software or digital products. 
  • Strong analytical skills with a curiosity to understand user behaviors and preferences. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate findings clearly and concisely. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced, agile environment. 
  • Proficiency in English 

Length of Internship: 3 months (24th of June - till 30th of September)
