Job Description

The School of Systems and Enterprises (SSE) at Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time (9-month), tenured or tenure-track faculty starting Fall 2024 or on a mutually agreed upon date. The position is open to individuals with qualifications that allow them to be appointed at the rank of associate or full professor. Successful candidates will contribute to a dynamic and growing research and educational program in: Systems engineering and/or space systems engineering (including complex engineering systems, operations research, AI/ML, cyber-physical systems and their underlying enabling and embedded technologies) and Software engineering and design (including cybersecurity, emergency behavior, machine learning, artificial intelligence and data engineering). 

Job Duties

Faculty duties include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, advising and mentoring graduate students, conducting externally-funded research, as well as contributing to service to Stevens and to the professional community. Candidates will be expected to become leaders in their field of research, to develop a vibrant externally-funded research program, and to contribute to best-in-class educational programs.
