Marketing Copywriter

Job Summary

We are looking for an copywriter with a focus on SEO and direct response to help us create quality content across all marketing collateral, both print and digital. Successful candidates will have an innate ability to take industry and company ideas and develop them into content that delivers. This is a collaborative role within the marketing department, working closely with other marketing team members to offer polished copy. If you’re the type to want to run with project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we’d like to meet you.

What You’ll Do

  • Write clear, attractive copy consistent with Alsco’s style, quality and tone
  • Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
  • Collaborate with a variety of subject matter experts both inside and outside of the Marketing team on marketing projects, such as emails, ads, infographics, whitepapers, website landing pages, and other sales communications
  • Conduct research to develop engaging copy
  • Edit and proofread copy as needed
  • Use SEO principles to maximize our potential reach

What We’re Looking For:

  • Have and maintain a valid driver license
  • General expertise with:
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Organization, communication and collaboration
  • Experience with SEO
  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
  • Education: Four-year degree in marketing, communication or English, or some higher education in combination with real-world communications or copywriting experience
  • Provide samples of written work personally completed by candidate
