E-commerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality. The Content Writer generates engaging and original content across various platforms to drive audience engagement and brand awareness. They will collaborate with cross functional teams to align content strategy with overall business objectives and target audience preferences.

What You'll Do

  • Research and develop engaging and informative content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand content needs and align messaging with brand objectives and target audience preferences.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve content strategy and effectiveness.
  • Develop content calendars and schedules to maintain consistent publishing cadence and meet deadlines.
  • Utilize data analytics and metrics to evaluate content performance and optimize future content strategies.
  • Adapt content for different formats and platforms, including articles, videos, infographics, and podcasts, to maximize audience reach and engagement.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft messages for various audiences and channels.
  • 5 years of experience in media relations, including pitching stories, securing press coverage, and building relationships with journalists.
  • Proficiency in managing Public Relations campaigns and projects, from strategy development to execution and evaluation.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
