Summary

As a Senior Analyst you will be instrumental in shaping SRP's workforce strategy to meet the challenges and opportunities presented by the evolving energy landscape. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that enhance our workforce's agility, resilience, and effectiveness.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Workforce Planning Coach: Your role is multifaceted. You will leverage your subject matter expertise and build credibility by providing consultative advice tailored to the organization’s needs, but ultimately serve as a coach, fostering empathy and collaboration to ensure success and sustainability of the SWP program embedded into the day-to-day business. 
  • Change Management: Lead change initiatives to drive adoption of new workforce strategies and practices, ensuring seamless transitions and maximizing employee engagement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization, serving as a trusted advisor on workforce planning matters and fostering a culture of collaboration and partnership.
  • Communications: Develop and deliver clear, compelling communications to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding of workforce strategies and objectives.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analytics and insights to inform workforce planning decisions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Project Management: Develops project plans and timelines in partnership with project teams to ensure key program deliverables, goals and stakeholder expectations are met. 
  • Stays current with SWP professional organizations, industry and employer groups, governmental agencies, and community organizations to inform internal practice. 
  • Implements best-practice and innovates new SWP solutions based on evaluation of multiple data gathering methods including root causes, performance gaps, research, etc.
  • Design, plan and implement people solutions and continuous improvement efforts that align with HR strategy and bolster the employee experience.
  • Manages, develops, and reports metrics and data analytics to ensure project/program effectiveness.

What It Takes To Succeed

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced skill set in Microsoft Office products. 
  • Exceptional proficiency in Project Management skills.
  • Previous and applied experience in data analytics or data science. 
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills (especially with Sr. Leaders).
  • Change Management certification and demonstrated applied experience.
  • Models learning agility, flexibility, and a growth mindset.
  • Self-motivator who maintains confidentiality and professionalism. 
  • Respectful and influential; candidate must have the ability to manage senior level executives and set appropriate expectations. 

Experience

  • 5 years of experience in workforce planning, organizational development, or related areas within the energy or utility industry.

Education

Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.

Testing and Certifications

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona. We are taking steps to protect the health and well-being of all team members, and by following a number of health and safety protocols, to reduce the risk of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
