Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of IT Security Audit and Assessment Program Specialist. This key position will manage security audit and assessment engagements within our organization. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in drafting responses, collecting evidence, and ensuring timely and comprehensive completion of recommended security measures.

  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field or mixture of education and experience.
  • Experience in managing IT security audit and assessment programs is desirable.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and adept at project management, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.

Job Specific Qualifications 


Responsibilities 

Engagement Coordination:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and schedule security audit and assessment engagements.
  • Coordinate with audit teams and ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Information Security Office and the Internal Audit group.

Response Drafting:

  • Develop clear and concise responses to security audit findings and recommendations.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to articulate corrective actions and mitigation strategies.

Evidence Collection:

  • Implement systematic processes for gathering and organizing evidence to support security controls and compliance measures.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure the availability and accuracy of required documentation.

Follow-Up and Closure:

  • Engage with participants and stakeholders to monitor the progress of recommended security measures.
  • Facilitate regular follow-up to ensure timely completion of action items and address any outstanding issues.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of audit and assessment activities, responses, and evidence collected.
  • Generate comprehensive reports detailing audit outcomes, corrective actions, and areas of improvement.
