As Head P&O Slovenia and Business Partner you will be responsible for leading the adoption and implementation of Sandoz People strategy at a country level. You will ensure that local P&O (»People and Organization«) activities are carried out in accordance with global standards and governance, local legislation, good practices and enable achievement of business objectives. You'll promote the development of the company's cultural and social ecosystem and brand.

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Lead the country P&O team to ensure a harmonized local P&O agenda, strongly collaborating and aligning with business units in-country.
  • Collaborate with Country President and Country Leadership Team in executing business transformation initiatives, ensuring business continuity and cross-unit collaboration and enabling One Sandoz culture.
  • Oversee cross-unit P&O talent development collaboration, promoting and managing cross-unit in-country career pathways of P&O talents.
  • Lead and coordinate local implementation of global, company-wide Sandoz P&O strategic initiatives and enterprise projects.
  • Coordinate P&O agenda between different units in the country; provide functional guidance to local P&O issues across units.
  • Align and support country Sandoz Employer branding.
  • Support Company Leadership Team and Country President with company reputation matters and external relations.
  • In Business Partner role drive and execute organization strategy (for the unit) in-country: translate business plan into a people plan and execute against the plan; in partnership with Global P&O leaders, enable business transformation in-country and promote adoption of enterprise-wide programs; laverage deep experience and expertise in P&O with a critical focus on strategy etc.

Role Requirements

What you will bring to the role:

  • University degree either MBA, Human Resources Management, Psychology, or Legal.
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of Slovenian is preferred. Additional European languages a plus.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years HR Business Partnering / COEs experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in ambiguous/ challenging environment, proactive approach to initiate and introduce best in class P & O practices to ensure support to client group.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proactive stakeholder engagement.
  • Expertise working with internal / external labor relations.
