Job Purpose:

The Associate Contracts Manager will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, negotiating and revising multitude of contracts. The incumbent will be responsible in achieving Tech Data’s value proposition.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for drafting, reviewing, revising and negotiating supplier and customer contracts.
  • Identifies commercial, operational and legal risks and advises how to resolve, mitigate or manage those risks.
  • Responsible for full life cycle administration of commercial contracts and agreements, and corporate business operations.
  • Participates in contract negotiations with customers and suppliers with the business.
  • Follows corporate guidelines and processes for contract review and approval.
  • Enforces contract management policies and procedures and develops and improve supplier and customer contract templates, contracting policies.
  • Ensure the organization's internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained.
  • Conducts (where required) relevant training for Sales, Marketing and Operations personnel to enhance communications with business teams as to resolve issues.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Interested candidates must have 3 to 4 years prior experience in contract management, paralegal, or similar role at a law firm or in-house legal department is required. Fluent in English.
  • Legal Diploma with at least 6 year experience in similar industry; or
  • Bachelor Degree in Law/ Juris Doctor degree.
