Job Description

This position is responsible for the design, development and executing the implementation of a diverse set of engagement & recognition programs and materials. This position supports business specific needs, including associate engagement, recognition, instructional design, and backing up teammates on the Talent Development team on their responsibilities.

Success in this role will require the ability to build relationships quickly and establish strong credibility. Strong attention to detail will be critical. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with an ability to communicate with people at varying levels of the organization will be important. While this role will focus on execution, some level of strategic thinking will be necessary to understand how various projects and initiatives fit into the bigger picture.

This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE) and partially from home. 

What you do

  • Collaborate and consult with Lead Analyst, business line leaders, and managers to determine the cause of performance gaps and provide feedback to correct them.
  • Establish learning objectives and create knowledge check or assessment questions including situational or scenario-based questions that contribute to mastery of learning objectives.
  • Determine the best visual communication layout and design for training materials to enhance the learning and development of employees.
  • Connect with HR Business Partners serving internal clients and subject matter experts to understand their needs, determine optimal learning, and development strategies.
  • Coach and facilitate train-the-trainer sessions for business line trainers helping them to enhance their skills for successful delivery of the training programs.
  • Establish and communicate reporting metrics and project dashboards which provide quantifiable gauges regarding the delivery, effectiveness, and alignment of training programs.
  • Help to administer annual associate engagement survey.
  • Serve as primary contact for the development and organization of associate committees across the enterprise.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience required. Relevant experience could come from any combination of associate engagement and recognition, instructional design, talent development, or training.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
