The IT Program Manager II is responsible for providing leadership for all activities associated with the successful planning and delivery for the suite of information security initiatives. This includes managing the program framework, oversight of related projects and reporting on portfolio health, roadmap, and budgeting. With minimal direction, the program manager owns governance and stakeholder management for the information security project portfolio.

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus.

This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Partners closely with Information Security leadership team and key stakeholders to build and maintain portfolio roadmap and prioritize the project backlog.
  • Provides expertise in planning, execution, and leadership of the program and related projects.
  • Ensures that the scope of the projects within the program align with business priorities. 
  • Utilize program and project management frameworks and best practices to manage portfolio and provide visibility into health of program.
  • Establish relevant metrics and KPIs to communicate status, demonstrate progress and build awareness of information security program performance.
  • Work with various internal IT groups, program / project teams, and other partners across Fred Hutch to effectively resolve issues and remove barriers to program success.
  • Develops resourcing strategies to ensure optimum support for projects.
  • Build and manage executive level risk and issue log.
  • Provides program reporting and status to senior management.
  • Facilitate and drive team and executive leadership meetings.
  • Reviews program budget variance and scopes change requests and participates in the budget-resolution process.
  • Addresses escalated resourcing issues with project manager and resource manager. Support and coach project managers within the program.
  • Oversee and participate in the change management planning and communications related to changes driven by the information security portfolio.
  • Build strong relationships across Fred Hutch and be a trusted advisor to customer.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading enterprise software projects or program management.
  • Experience effectively leading and managing collaborative, cross-functional relationships.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $109,637 to $173,264, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
