We are seeking an equally passionate Manager Sales Effectiveness to help coach and upskill the business development, sales and leadership teams. As part of the sales team, this person will report to the Director of Sales Enablement. The Sales Enablement/ Sales Effectiveness team is responsible for implementing and evolving our sales process and methodology, reinforcing training material, providing targeted coaching, optimizing sales resources, working directly with sales leadership to address knowledge/process gaps and owning all sales change management. 

Top candidates will reside in CT or NJ. The majority of work can be done remotely with some travel to regional offices required.

Essential Job Functions

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop enablement programs, tactics and initiatives
  • Daily focus on continuous improvement by way of partnering with training resources, implementing strategic programs and make recommendations for broader improvement 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices for sales enablement and supporting sales material.
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to the sales team to ensure successful adoption of training and enablement programs 
  • Manage sales tools including Ambition and Sales Rabbit
  • Responsible for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization by creating, improving and executing sales tools, processes and programs 
  • Resource to aid the Learning and Development team in creation of training content, including presentations, playbooks, and training guides 
  • Facilitate live support sessions and webinars to aid in the sales team's ongoing development 
  • This role will also have significant interaction with various departments throughout the company including Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Corporate & Field Operations, Asset Management, Legal/Compliance, and Project Management
  • Sales Methodology – Work with appropriate leadership to develop and implement sales methodology, including overall strategy and approach 
  • Plan, organize and track activities and processes required to support the methodology 
  • Sales Tools – Support the management of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program and all associated sales and AI-based tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness through the organization 
  • Sales Targets – Assist with identifying appropriate sales force team and individual salesperson targets to allow the organization to meet business objectives
  • Assist with managing the compensation program ensuring sellers have visibility to their performance and receive accurate payment per their results 
  • Strategic Planning – Working with the Sales Leadership team, help prepare information and analysis to allow for strategic planning and the execution of various initiative and tactics key to business success 
  • Compliance - Know and understand PosiGen’s Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards and drive compliance within both the workforce and supporting material/tactics.
  • Help direct change management programs 
  • Core Sales Leadership Team – Serve as a member of the Core Sales Leadership Team, providing information, insight and recommendations for their area of responsibility along with the broader sales function 
  • Must relentlessly pursue best practices and increased knowledge to help advance the professionalism and effectiveness of the entire sales group 
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance/Data Analysis, or equivalent preferred
  • 3+ years sales and project management experience
  • Strong business acumen
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud)
  • Highly Proficient with Google Suite, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word and other project management tools (Asana, Clickup or equivalent)
  • Expert with CRM systems (Salesforce.com)
  • Experience with documentation of business requirements and user processes (using Lucidchart, Visio or similar tools)
  • The candidate will have a proven track record of proven leadership abilities (communication, relationship building, training & development)
  • Maintain a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Knowledge of solar energy and/or solar industry experience a plus

Base Salary

$90,000—$100,000 USD
