SR MANAGER SALES CONTRACTS & TECHNICAL

This role will be a critical position, partnering with the Director of Sales as we prepare to create magic at sea in Southeast Asia. You will be a crucial part of establishing the contracting and onboarding of our sales partners to drive engagement in the Southeast region. The travel partner engagement will ensure the successful introduction and sustainment of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship Disney Adventure to sail from Singapore beginning in 2025. 

GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION

Sales will play a prominent role in the expansion. The Sr Sales Manager Contracts and Technical will partner with the sales team ensuring the ability to onboard all key sales partners. In the formative stage you will work hand in hand with legal, revenue management and technology teams to provide a seamless onboarding to key partners. At launch you will continue to provide support on contract adjustments and new partner onboarding as needed. You will partner with Corporate headquarters to establish the onboarding roadmap and assess those partners with technical capability to seamlessly integrate booking systems. You will identify the best booking process for each partner based on their capabilities and anticipated volume. Working hand in hand with Sr Sales Analytics Manager to understand each partners priority contribution to the business. You will have a strong understanding of the travel trade providing an operational logistics perspective to limit sales friction.

This role will be responsible for the Sales contracting for all markets possessing strong business acumen and partner collaboration navigating the Disney Cruise line systems to effectively on-board partners. This role is crucial for establishing and maintaining successful partnership within the travel industry. Effective contract development ensures that both the Company and its partners operate on clear terms and can adapt to changing market conditions. The role requires significant integration both in Singapore and Orlando not limited to the sales, legal, technology, revenue management, and contact center teams.

You should be an energetic, proactive, self-starter with experience working within a large-scale travel industry business. Candidates must work exceptionally well in teams and possess the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will:

Leading onboarding and maintaining of key travel trade partners this critical role to activate sales strategy to achieve and exceed solid business results.

  • Partner with Director of Sales and Sr Manager of Sales analysis to understand the prioritization of key accounts and understanding of contribution to the business success.
  • Partner across Revenue Management, Legal and Technology to establish the roadmap of onboarding all partners.
  • Provide clear communication to each partner relative to the onboarding process to ensure partners are set up for success.
  • Partner extensively with legal to establish contracting, understand commission structures to solidify partner terms.
  • Ensure that contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements across each market.
  • Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts such as cancellations, disputes of changes in market conditions.
  • Work hand in hand with sales team to negotiate and finalize contracts in a expeditious manner.
  • Ensure thorough understanding of partner interface capabilities such as platforms and technology to ensure the strongest approach to establish sales with least friction.
  • Regularly review existing contracts to identify opportunities for optimization, renewal or renegotiation.
  • Manage contract amendments and revisions when necessary due to changes in market conditions or business strategies.
  • Maintain a well-organized record of all contract related documents, correspondence and agreements in compliance with Company policy.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to travel trade partners, addressing inquiries and concerns related to contracts promptly and professionally.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a leadership travel industry sales analysis role.
  • Previous work experience in travel operation with exceptional knowledge of all facets of the industry
  • Keen understanding of the region.
  • Significant experience in managing contracting with sales partners in a fast-paced environment reliant upon successful collaboration and integration of key stakeholders.
  • Skilled balance between relationship engagement, legal compliance, technical and servicing to have a big picture view of client support.
  • Experience in establishing sales distribution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus superior professionalism
  • Advanced presentation skills and proven track record of influencing executive audiences.
  • Skilled at understanding performance metrics to assess & optimize programs.
  • Travel Industry experience required
  • Ability to travel internationally.
