Manager, Digital & Design (m/f/d) - part-time up to 20hours

PURPOSE

You will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our employer brand identity, attracting top talent, and creating a positive employee experience. You will collaborate closely with Brand, Corporate Communications, HR, Talent Acquisition and wider Employer Branding team to create engaging visual content that aligns with our company values and attracts the right candidates. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Partner closely with the wider Employee Experience, EVP and Employer Branding team to develop, update and maintain the employer brand identity, ensuring consistency and alignment with the overall brand strategy. This includes strong relationships with other departments such as Brand Marketing & Communications, Corporate Communications, and other internal creative design teams. 
  • Responsible for training the wider Recruitment Marketing team, Talent Acquisition team, and other relevant stakeholders on the employer brand identity, ensuring it maintains its integrity but comes to life in an appropriate way for each activation. 
  • Create compelling and engaging content to promote our employer brand across multiple internal and external channels, including social media platforms, websites, career sites, job portals, and recruitment campaigns. 
  • Design and produce a wide range of assets, including but not limited to digital graphics, infographics, illustrations, photography, videos, and presentations, that effectively communicate our employer value proposition. This includes creation of both dynamic and static assets. 
  • Develop and maintain the Employer Branding toolkit to support the employer brand strategy and ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints. This includes creation of a suite of employer brand assets that can be easily adapted by regional and functional teams for self-service use. 
  • Establish and maintain a request process and service-level agreement to serve the wider Employer Branding team for asset creation that allows for both long term strategic support across markets and functions as well as ad hoc support. 
  • Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to employer branding. 
  • Occasionally support with the creation of internal assets used for company events, in close conjunction with the Corporate Communications Content Creation team. 
  • Collaborate with external creative agencies, freelancers, or vendors when necessary to meet project requirements and deadlines.

  • Ensure at least 30% of organic social media content is created in a dynamic format such as reels, animations or short/long-form video 
  • Update Employer Branding Toolkit with new assets for Recruiter use at least every 6 months

  • 360 feedback / stakeholder feedback 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

Managers in adidas play a critical role in the execution of the priorities and core services of the HR function at adidas. They support a single-business-unit or region, in some cases extending across the organization and are functional experts who demonstrate subject matter expertise and take strong personal ownership over the delivery of great (final) work product and results. They have the ability to blend functional expertise with a comprehensive view of the bigger picture. They are able to prioritize without losing sight of the overarching goals. Our Managers are skilled at capturing data from a variety of sources and analyze and interpret the findings as well as presenting those findings to the business and HR leaders. They influence based on subject matter expertise and offers relevant (external) insights for input to business strategy discussions. They support their leadership in setting expectations and standards and coach others through change and transformation. 

IDEAL EXPERIENCE 

  • Proven work experience as a visual or brand designer, with a strong focus on employer branding or recruitment marketing. 
  • Strong grasp of graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools. Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite in order to create adaptable assets for Recruiters. 
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition. 
  • Excellent storyteller and visual communicator with a very broad knowledge of creating and editing a variety of visual formats 
  • Skilled in social media understanding and social media marketing tools. Demonstrates a strong desire to grasp new and emerging platforms and trends. 
  • Preferably has experience and exposure to paid media and campaign planning. 
  • Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting to and training stakeholders. 
  • Fluent English, spoken and written.
