The Role

This Executive will have broad-based knowledge and be an experienced expert in business operations, resource management and development. This role will serve as an advisor, resource, partner and critical link between Brand Consulting’s Leadership Team, its cross functional teams, and various intracompany counterparts, such as HR, Legal and Finance. This role will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the Global Brand Consulting division, as it pertains to its people and processes, while cultivating a strong culture of growth, collaboration, and innovation. 

This role will work collaboratively with organizational leaders to identify gaps and opportunities for people and process improvements and development. 

The Department

CAA Brand Consulting is a strategy-led, full-service marketing agency with expertise in Cultural and Consumer Insights, Data and Analytics, Talent/Influencer and Property Partnership Advisory, Experiential, Social Impact, Creative Services, and Content and Digital Strategy. These integrated capabilities come together to offer solutions from planning through execution, and we pull in a collective perspective of expertise with each client brief to ensure we are tapping into diverse thinking and building strategies reflective of the marketplace and culture we work within.

Responsibilities

Resource Management + Development

  • Lead onboarding, new hire assimilation and integration on to the Brand Consulting team and to their respective functional area;
  • Identify operational gaps (people and/or process) and opportunities, propose solutions and drive change management;
  • In partnership with CAA’s Learning and Development team, build and lead cross-functional learning programs that are scalable to the global team;
  • Develop and deliver global, divisional training programs to support the adaptation of new departmental processes, tools and/or new ways of working across the division;
  • Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to department staff to achieve maximum departmental effectiveness and communication;
  • Partner with Brand Consulting leadership on the execution of global performance review cycles;
  • Partner with line managers and CAA Recruiting to support recruitment efforts to identify the right talent for the business.
  • Manage and develop a group of employees

Evolve and Optimize Tools/Systems/Processes

  • Support strategic planning that focus on driving new process improvements and team experience enhancements.
  • Aggregate divisional people-related data to help guide leadership decisions to ensure best employee experience.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business to define needs and deliver holistic people and process solutions.
  • Continuously optimize performance of internal development programs by identifying gaps and opportunities.
  • Use deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise senior leadership on decisions.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of relevant operational/resource management experience
  • A critical thinker who is interested in developing efficient ways to streamline, standardize and improve current internal processes.
  • Strong business acumen accompanied by the ability to align/create/develop internal resources to help drive business strategy forward while ensuring operational excellence.
  • Ability to develop meaningful professional relationships with internal stakeholders and global colleagues across the division.
  • Expertise in DEI, as it relates to recruitment, retention and culture.
  • Experience with talent development and management.
  • Exceptional balance of creative thinking with strong business judgement and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communicator with the ability to explain complex concepts and issues clearly and efficiently.
  • Ability to work with individuals at all-levels.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and organize a course of action to drive positive outcomes.
  • Ability to identify opportunities/problems and propose ideas to leadership without explicit instructions to be able to influence change.
  • A leader and a do-er with a resilient and positive attitude.
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically. 
  • Ability to execute on commitments and deliver timely results to meet deadlines.

Location

Based out of the New York offices, this role is onsite/in office Tuesday through Thursday and remote Monday and Friday.

Compensation: The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $153,000-$207,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
