We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager to deliver content requirements for the UK & Ireland that supports thought leadership, marketing campaigns and case studies. You will be responsible for the delivery of this content, working as part of an integrated marketing community to share feedback, best practice and insights to continually improve the plan.

The Content Manager will be a core part of our local marketing community and will help to set the tone for greater alignment and consistency across our marketing teams.

Why…The organisation has just reviewed its strategy and has launched a regional EMEA strategic direction with a much clearer customer approach. To drive efficiency within marketing, the content function will now sit under one department, and we are looking for an experienced, creative and capable Content Manager.

Our Marketing community need to drive customer demand and lead the coordination or our brand and customer plans across Marketing, P&SM and Sales

We will drive out inefficiency and cost to invest in leadership, skills, and capability to drive best practice end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns across product and services.

You will lead the following…

  • Plan and deliver content requirements for UK&I marketing campaigns, sector campaigns and partnerships.
  • Work with UK&I marketing team to ensure thought leadership content is leveraged and utilised.
  • Plan and operationalise thought leadership articles and video content to support marketing campaigns.
  • Lead, manage, plan and execute a programme of case studies for use by the UK&I market.
  • Support the Senior Content & Thought Leadership Marketing Manager plan and execute new thought leadership content to support reports and Connected Thinking.
  • Create and manage a database of content (words & pictures) for transparency of what exists and audit on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of content.

What you will do…

  • Work with Marketing Operations to provide input into Hero content requirements to support our marketing campaigns.
  • Work with the wider marketing team to integrate and leverage thought leadership & Connected Thinking content marketing in line with Content strategy & business objectives.
  • Work with our marketing agencies, external & internal writers, plus our internal design team to fulfil content requirements across all format types (both existing and new).
  • Disseminate sometimes complex information into clear and compelling messages.
  • Create engaging content to motivate our customers to “take action”.
  • Lead, plan and manage end-to-end the case study process and the development of customer case studies.
  • Support the Senior Content & Thought Leadership Marketing Manager with governing the UK&I content output to ensure visibility of what is being produced across the team and identifying opportunities to repurpose existing content.
  • Oversight of all UK&I content and creating a process for identifying what content requires updating and when.
  • Ensure value for money with external spend.

What we are looking for from you…

  • Experience working in a multi-national matrix organisation.
  • B2B and B2C experience.
  • Several years broad marketing experience in marketing communications.
  • Experience in briefing, reviewing, providing feedback and editing copy.
  • Content Marketing & Thought Leadership.
  • Disseminating complex information into clear and compelling communication themes.
  • Commercially astute.
  • Experience and understanding of the creative development process.
  • Managing external marketing agencies and freelancers.
  • Experience in managing and communicating effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Outstanding communication skills
