Responsibilities

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

At PCG, we see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires Solutions that Matter. We are looking for a talented graphic designer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations, in both print and electronic media. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the graphic designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that meets project goals.

The Graphic Designer visually communicates ideas in both print and electronic media, that inspire, inform, and captivate. The Graphic Designer has expert knowledge of current design software and is skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. They collaborate with multiple teams across the company and take written and/or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that meets project goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Creative and innovative design skills.
  • Has a keen eye for visual details.
  • Digest concepts and convey them visually.
  • Interpret and consistently uphold related brand and style guidelines and be a brand ambassador.
  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work as part of a team.
  • Create accessible PowerPoint presentations.
  • Communicate efficiently with Excellent presentation skills.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in a Graphic Design discipline, or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE: 1 to 2 years of experience.

SOFTWARE: Proficiency with Office applications (PowerPoint, and Word), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign). Knowledge of Adobe Workfront, and Adobe Express a plus.

PORTFOLIO: Sample of work.

This position is a HYBRID position. PCG is a remote-friendly organization and is committed to creating a culture where remote work remains a vital part of the company’s success.

To be successful in a remote work role at PCG, you must:

  • be available during your set working hours.
  • have a safe, private, and distraction-free environment in which to complete your work, and
  • be able to give your full attention to the completion of your PCG job duties.

Some travel to the office or elsewhere may be required for team meetings, client meetings, etc.

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. 

As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role:$45,000-54,999 and a potential discretionary bonus of up to 10%.

In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
