In this role, you will be a part of the banking and financial application support specialist team that supports our global clients in using Moody’s Analytics solutions to make critical business decisions. This is an opportunity to develop your career in financial services industry using the world-class software. You will obtain broad knowledge of leading credit risk solutions by working with the latest breed of financial software. You will also ensure that our software solutions, data, financial models, and technology are used effectively and appropriately to add value to our clients’ businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of Moody’s Analytics Basel III/IV banking regulatory compliance software solutions and the technology, environments, and platforms they run on.
  • Accurately troubleshoot and investigate complex technical issues reported by client through hands-on, and respond to client demands in a courteous, professional, accurate and timely manner.
  • Take ownership of issues reported to Moody’s, which could be cause by the software bug or the client’s technical environment. Manage and escalate requests appropriately while maintaining ownership of the client interaction and delivery solution.
  • Provide in-depth education and assistance to client on product features, functionality, and the product technical architecture.
  • Communicate effectively and develop excellent working relationships with colleagues within Client Service and in partner teams such as Engineering, Services, CloudOps, Product Management, etc.
  • Identify, capture, and channel client feedback on product to the Product Managers.

Qualification:

  • Must be educated to degree (or equivalent) level in Information System, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Finance, or similar disciplines.
  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in the areas of development, implementation, support, or data analytics of enterprise software. Banking software experience is a plus.
  • Good SQL skills are essential. Experience in Java web application, and/or knowledge in Oracle database are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Being technically strong, with good analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot the software error and find solutions via analysis of application logs, SQL queries, program codes and error messages.
  • Knowledge in any functional area of Asset & Liability Management, IRRBB, and/or Basel capital adequacy requirement, is highly advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Be able to explain the complex technical issues to the customers.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimum supervision in a remote working environment yet engage effectively with the team and other departments within Moody’s.
  • Fluency in Chinese and English language is essential.
