Work Environment

We are looking for a Project Control Manager Renewable to support efficiently the expansion of our activities in Energy. You will be involved in the project progress of Owner’s Engineering, and/or Engineering-Procurement-Construction Management assignments. You will evolve in an international environment, and you will work in close coordination with other teams throughout the company in order to deliver projects at the highest quality standards. You will be integrated in Tractebel Energy community, a worldwide network of Energy specialists keen on sharing their knowledge. All your missions have to be performed with the highest standards of Quality / Safety / Legal / Ethics. Missions

  • You will report to the Project Manager.
  • Formulate Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for each project phase (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning) to a measurable level for progress tracking purposes.
  • Development, maintenance, and implementation of the overall project schedule at L-3 level for each project. The project schedule shall follow the critical path method (CPM). L-3 schedule shall integrate linkages of relationships and logic for all activities between each project phase from Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning including Owner's milestones and work scopes.
  • Perform regular reviews, updates, and analysis of project progress through weekly/monthly meetings and reports. Project progress reviews shall present proper and accurate project progress during the period including but not limited to written summary indicating activities deviating from plan, look ahead schedules, float analysis, critical path reports, risks analysis, and recovery plans.
  • Generate reports to present trend of weekly operating progress at sites through productivity report or installation rates of commodities such as PV piles, PV panels, cabling works (Pulling and Termination).
  • Review, monitor, and maintain construction schedule.
  • Regularly monitor construction issues and provide resolutions to mitigate risks which may affect guarantee performance, reliability, and maintainability or project schedule.
  • Review contractor's monthly construction reports and assess the report on the construction progress relative to the project's master schedule; If the project has any delay potentials, determine mitigation/recovery plans and notify/recommend owner as soon as possible.
  • Maintain in-storage preservation logs for all equipment supplied by owner, if applicable. 
  • Coordinate between suppliers/contractors for schedule and physical interface.

  • Bachelor's degree in civil and electrical engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Renewable Energy projects including project realization and follow-up.
  • Working knowledge in the project control management.
  • Flexible, meticulous, good planner and organizer. 
  • Ability to work autonomously and be proactive. 
  • Dynamic and have excellent interpersonal skills, and great team player.
  • Solid communication skills, able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders. 
  • Fluency in Thai and English, both verbal and written skills.
  • You are willing to travel for short term missions for project site visits.
  • This role is for 1 year fixed term contract.
