We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to manage an ID/IQ system integration and equipment deployment TSA contract. The position will be located in Arlington, VA, at or near TSA headquarters, or Dulles, VA. May consider alternate locations.

Since 1996, We have been a leader in the transportation security market. We currently supports the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) Office of Acquisition Program Management (OAPM) who is responsible for building TSA’s capabilities by managing the acquisition, testing, deployment and sustainment of security technology and other acquisition programs. We are the premier provider of such services to the TSA. Our Mission is to deploy, install, integrate, test and decommission airport Checkpoint (CP) and Checked Baggage (CB) transportation security equipment and security capabilities to federalized airports nationwide.

The job will involve significant responsibility in the area of passenger, baggage, air cargo, and other types of screening. The work requires rigorous project planning and execution, including establishment of and tracking against a project baseline (scope, schedule, and budget), project status reporting, stakeholder coordination (TSA, airport authorities, airlines, subcontractors), supervision of technical and administrative support staff, oversight of subcontracts, and internal management reporting (e.g., financial forecasts, program reviews). When requested by TSA, the Program Manager will provide briefings to the TSA Administrator. The Program Manager will also represent us in meetings with other stakeholders in the aviation community, including airport authority management and trade associations. The Program Manager will be expected to participate as a speaker or moderator at industry conferences.

The Program Manager will be responsible for achieving all technical, schedule, and financial targets of the project. The Program Manager will establish milestones and monitor adherence to program master plans and schedules and will develop control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identify potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken, and ensure the meeting of company's contract commitments. With the support of Task Order Managers responsible for baggage, passenger, and other screening projects, the Program Manager will direct the performance of program functional task elements such as engineering, field engineering, procurement, performance excellence, finance, contracts, and administrative functions. The Program Manager will act as the primary customer contact on status and performance and must anticipate and fulfill customer needs to ensure their satisfaction and continued business. The Program Manager will also be expected to support proposal activities for follow-on work.

Required Experience:

  • At least 12 years’ experience in managing engineering development, equipment deployment, or construction programs
  • At least 5 years’ experience managing airport design and construction projectsLeadership and management of geographically dispersed teams Promoting programs, plans, goals, and objectives with stakeholders and maintaining continuous communication with Governments counterpart concerning contract performance

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree is required; preferred in Engineering or Business Administration or closely related field. Masters in related field is preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a TSA background check
  • Travel - 10% (Domestic)
