WHAT WILL I DO?

You will be part of a team, within the Scientific Product Support group, that is responsible for chemical and biological materials within the responsibility of the R&D Allergy department. In this role you are collaborating cross functional with colleagues in product and process care projects, supply activities, troubleshooting, investigations as well as in product development projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide technical and scientific support and guidance to internal teams, including R&D and operations, regarding product specifications, applications, and quality requirements in the area of chemicals and biologicals.
  • Provide technical and scientific support within area of expertise to product development projects as well as supply projects.
  • Guide and support in discussions around the role and impact of chemical and biological substances on product performance.
  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality and reliability of raw materials.
  • Take part in the management of chemicals and biologicals for the R&D Allergy department.
  • Take part in investigations, change management activities and risk management.
  • Maintain specification and acceptance criteria for chemicals and biologicals used in products.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and regulatory affairs teams to prepare and submit necessary documentation for product registrations and certifications.

HOW WILL I GET THERE?

You are an organised and structured person who enjoys working in both a laboratory environment and in a more supportive and administrative role. You will support the whole department and cross organizational projects within the role with your competence in the chemical and biologicals field.

Education:

  • Master of Science degree, or equivalent work experience, in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or a related field.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of chemical and biological principles, as well as proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment.
  • Experience from working in the life science area, insights in production processes within the in vitro diagnostics area is a merit.
  • Experience from working with quality control, analysis of chemicals and chemical regulations, e.g. REACH, is meriting as well as equivalent experience with biological materials.
  • Experience of immunoassay development is a merit.

Skills and abilities

  • Exhibiting a high degree of self-motivation, independence, and strong critical thinking skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences in both Swedish and English.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Collaborate with external partners, such as suppliers, to leverage expertise and resources.
  • Good project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
