Tetra Tech International Development is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a potential Chief of Party position on an anticipated USAID-funded program in Southern Africa.
Position Description/Summary: The five-year USAID Southern Africa Resilient Water II is a follow-on to USAID Southern Africa Resilient Waters, which ended in December 2023. The activity will focus on building more resilient and water secure Southern African communities and ecosystems through improved management of transboundary water and natural resources.
The Chief of Party will be responsible for all technical, financial, and administrative aspects of the program and will coordinate closely with USAID in developing, implementing, and revising the Activity’s overall technical strategy and implementation approach. The Chief of Party will be the principal link between USAID, key government counterparts in participating countries, Tetra Tech, and other project stakeholders. The Chief of Party will provide comprehensive expert technical oversight and guidance in all aspects of the program, including subcontractor management, monitoring, and evaluation (M&E), and reporting to USAID. This will be a full-time position based in the region for the full life of project (anticipated five years).
