What you’ll do

The Field Service Representative will be responsible for meeting the daily service repair needs of the customer’s equipment by driving customer satisfaction through Service Excellence in Italy.

  • Troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, validation and service repair needs on designated equipment in GMP environment.
  • Completing Preventative Maintenance and Field Modification Instruction
  • Ordering and managing repair parts cycle times.
  • Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
  • Participating in sales opportunities such as contract renewals and assist with promoting and implementing revenue programs.
  • Travel is required (several overnight stays a week).

Who you are

  • Majored in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering, Computer, Electronic or Automation.
  • Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based service process.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, electronic equipment and/or automation.
  • Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns.
  • Experience in Biopharma or Biotechnologies environment is a strong plus.
  • High integrity & discipline. Capability of working under customer pressure and travel.
  • Operation / maintenance knowledge related to computers (Windows OS, PC, server), networks and database strong plus.
  • English & Italian mandatory.
