Job Description

Job Summary

The Senior Business Systems Analyst is a member of the Omnichannel Marketing Technology team that is driving a center of excellence change across the organization. This individual will work with multi-functional teams to define, compile, and analyze product requirements of Omnichannel projects and MarTech platforms. The ideal candidate can analyze business processes, translate business processes into product requirements, and educate business users by adopting new processes. 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop, review, or edit requirements, business processes, and recommendations related to projects and or process improvements. 
  • Works closely with business partners to identify and improve opportunities to use information and technology to improve business processes. 
  • Identifies strengths and weaknesses and makes recommendations for improvements. 
  • Elicits solution requirements using interviews, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. 
  • Develops user stories, defines acceptance criteria, tests, and details new features and functionality. 
  • Transforms functional requirements into technical design at all technology levels. 
  • Helps end-users test the solution and sets up test data. 
  • Solicits feedback from departments and customers after going live to prioritize future improvements. 
  • Provides support for internal users of assigned platforms. 

Minimum Work Experience 

  • 5+ years as an individual contributor in business operations, data reporting, and analytics system implementation. 
  • 5+ years with large-scale software integration & implementation projects. 
  • Familiarity with MarTech & Business Intelligence platforms: PowerBI, Blueshift, Salesforce, Twilio, Sendgrid, Snowflake. 
  • LEAN, Agile, or Business Process RE-engineering experience and/or certification. 

Key Skills 

  • Broad literacy with business intelligence methodologies and strong skills for learning and adapting standard processes in imperfect environments. 
  • Demonstrated ability to act in a consultative role to understand functional business processes, and related information technology needs and to develop solutions and delivery proposals. 
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a rapport with people on all levels. 
  • Knowledge of relational and dimensional database structures, theories, principles, and practices.

Pay Rate

$74,500 - $88,500 Salary

Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
