The Growth Business team is a scaled midmarket sales team that is part of TikTok's Global Business Solutions Division. The role is directly responsible for building relationships and helping clients drive business results on TikTok through consultation, education, and support. Ideal candidates will combine an exceptional ability to provide consultative selling; a passion for growing revenue; an outstanding ability to set strategic vision; and a willingness to execute the tactics. Success in this position requires strong sales and client-facing experience; problem-solving skills; attention to detail; the ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment.

Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Establish and manage client relationships with key strategic brands and agencies
  • Drive deals to closure
  • Retain and grow revenue from advertisers
  • Provide clients with the highest level of full-funnel media solutions and customer service
  • Collaborate with internal teams globally across e-commerce, product, marketing, legal, and engineering

Product Management

  • Brainstorm, identify, and implement advertising solutions on ByteDance products to deliver measurable results for clients
  • Serve as an external product consultant on properties that are owned and operated by ByteDance
  • Analyze data and glean insights to execute the client strategy and ByteDance’s marketing solutions

Campaign Planning and Management

  • Facilitate clients’ ad campaigns from start to finish
  • Manage internal account operations including account set up etc.
  • Plan and build compelling storylines and data-driven presentations that are customized to clients’ business and problems

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, advertising, technology or media field
  • More than seven years of experience in e-commerce or ad sales marketing and development, or a sales-related support function in FMCG industry
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of FMCG industry
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of digital media strategy, ad metrics, and platforms
  • Demonstrated experience in working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with analyzing data and delivering actionable insights
  • Self-starter, fast learner with a can-do spirit
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
