The Revenue Analyst will play a key role within the revenue function. Designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency. Develops and implements accounting policies and procedures in conformance with current FASB and SEC guidance. Manages compliance of Accounting processes within GAAP and company standards guidelines.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Assists with monthly revenue recognition
  • Analyzes revenue on a monthly and quarterly basis, constantly looking to enhance reporting capabilities
  • Looks for ways to better leverage our accounting system
  • Understanding of basic revenue recognition principles, and how to apply them in different scenarios
  • Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data and revenue
  • Oversees the analysis and reporting of accounting data for both external reporting and internal Management decision making/analysis
  • Develops, implements, and maintains systems, procedures, and policies
  • Participates in annual audits and special projects
  • Works with external consultants or auditors to provide required information and ensure proper recordkeeping for historical purposes
  • Manages month-end close activities, including assurance of accurate and timely results
  • Drives change and ensures scaling of operation through automation, work assessment, and process improvemen

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP relevant to the area of work.

Education & Experience

  • Typically 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
