(This position will be located in Gresik, East Java, Indonesia)

Purpose of the Position:

  • Direct and oversee the Security Operations Center and ensure data collection, dispatch of security resources, reporting, and data analysis are performed to standard.
  • Improve understanding of internal and external factors contributing to risk at the facility and helping Risk Management Department to understand this.
  • Support enhanced risk assessments, information management, business processes, and security operational planning and execution.
  • Conduct stakeholder monitoring, and when directed, liaise between the company and regional government, security forces, community organizations and labor unions as well as with company operations and support groups as required.
  • Conduct investigations up to a defined threshold of loss/complexity in a timely fashion and issue findings to relevant stakeholders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control/Assurance for Security Operations Center.
  • Serve as a key advisor to the head of Risk Management on risks within the business and in the wider community.
  • Improve the head of Risk Management's ability to advise management on risks to personnel, assets, operations, and company reputation.
  • Identify and implement best practices for information analysis, risk assessment, and forecasting, especially in high-threat areas.
  • Conduct liaison and coordination with police, community, government, and military stakeholders in collaboration with the head of Risk Management.
  • Evaluate and recommend key technology integrations for the information operations mission.
  • Deliver periodic reports and analysis of threats and incidents.
  • Conduct investigations and manage to conclusion following relevant security incidents.

Key Challenges:

  • Develop and implement the information operations process, including collecting incident reports, tracking investigations, analyzing information, and assessing security risks.
  • Promote information flow and awareness of security risks among various sections and areas of responsibility.
  • Produce a weekly information summary (INSUM), including trend analysis and risk forecasting.
  • Maintain oversight of the Security Operations Center, monitoring operation and suggest improvements.

Background, Education, and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Criminology, Political Science, or other relevant discipline.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience with a risk management consultancy, or within a department dealing with security/risk management.
  • Preferred industry certification (e.g. ASIS) in fraud detection/investigation.
  • Experience in delivering written security information products.
  • Bilingual in Bahasa Indonesia and English. Javanese is an advantage.

  • Keep an effective database of these reports and build on them over time to develop a medium-to-long-term threat outlook.
