The Assistant Manager/ Manager – QEHS will provide Leadership to the QEHS Team to support and drive focused initiatives and measures towards improving and sustaining the high levels of benchmarks in terms of Quality , Environment , health and Safety .

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Serve as a critical business partner & drive a consistent strategic vision for QEHS across organization by aligning with Global & AP strategies, initiatives, systems & expectations to drive Quality, safety awareness, engagement, and incident prevention.
  • Lead internal and external inspections & audits covering but not limited to Management Systems , Product / Facility approvals and Certifications. Ensuring corrective actions are monitored, documented, and closed timely.
  • Analyze EHS statistics, prepare reports/ dashboards, make recommendations, and implement effective control measures and procedures to eliminate, or reduce, the risk of recurrences. Oversee the development, review and maintenance of quality programs, systems, ISO standards, processes and procedures.
  • Managing the processes and standards for the Quality team to ensure smooth operations of the plant and the metrology lab. 
  • Be customer focused. Meet internal & external customers’ quality requirements and resolves any customer feedbacks/ complaints, quality related matters through close partnership with cross functional teams located regionally & globally.
  • Work closely with global & regional Quality teams to identify failure modes and drive process improvements.
  • Develop, monitor and review Quality dashboards and meet Quality KPIs. Responsible for successful roll out and support of AP quality programs, events and initiatives.
  • Deliver Quality training based on organization’s needs. Familiar with ISO 9001 standard requirements, Lean, Kaizen or 6 Sigma methodologies. 
  • Support ,Drive and deliver Sustainability related initiatives aligned with Global and Local Management 
  • Ensure local country’s legal requirements relating to Quality & EHS are fulfilled and met.
  • Lead any other projects, activities and responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • 8-10 years of Quality and EHS experience in manufacturing Industry, preferably with team responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software like MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledgeable and experience with National & International codes and Product Approval certifications & audits which includes but not limited to PESO ,CCC, ATEX, IECEX, BV, FM, CSA, DNV, UL, etc.
  • Ability to lead change and alignment on new concepts and approaches through persistence, self-motivation, follow-through, and commitment.
  • Great team building skills
  • Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electronic & Electrical Engineering
  • ISO 9001: 2015 Lead Auditor ,ISO /IEC 80079-34, ISO 14001, 45001 EHS experience or certifications are added advantage.
  • 6 Sigma/ Lean Qualification is an added advantage.
