Job Description/Responsibilities

Position Overview

The Sr. Human Resources Manager for the Strategic Operations is a key member of the HR team and their respective Strategic Operations functional leaders and across the HR team to build HR strategies, improve organizational performance and develop capabilities to attract, reward, motivate and develop talent. This role acts as strategic HR partner to the following Operations leaders: Vice President of Procurement & Contract Manufacturing, Vice President of Quality & New Product Development; Vice President of Supply Chain & Customer Service & Logistics, and Vice President of Capital Project & Engineering leading change management and people development discussions to support business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Collaborate with Strategic Operations Vice Presidents (VPs) to develop and execute HR strategies that support the company's growth and performance strategy.
  • Identifies business drivers and connects people objectives to business partner objectives.
  • Implements and executes effective communications to support company strategic plan/objectives, company values, etc. Fully engages Leadership in understanding HR initiatives, policies, procedures, and processes. 
  • Talent Management:
  • Leads the Talent Development process for assigned functional teams to ensure assessment, development, and succession planning. 
  • Collaborate with leadership and hiring managers to understand their talent needs and align recruitment efforts with their objectives.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to continuously assess and refine the talent acquisition strategy to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.
  • Utilize workforce planning to anticipate and address future talent needs.
  • Development, L&D:
  • Drive organizational effectiveness and change management efforts to enhance business performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Support the development and implementation of functional learning and development programs to enhance team member skills, experience, and knowledge.
  • Organizational Culture and Employee Experience:
  • Drives change initiatives and effectively manage change through appropriate techniques. Coaches leaders on all people and change management initiatives. 
  • Foster a positive and workplace culture that reflects the company's values.
  • Leads initiatives with leaders, drives efforts to increase engagement of our employees to ensure a positive work environment within function and across the workplace.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to team members and managers in proactive labor strategies.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters and provide strategic solutions.
  • Participates in and promotes a collaborative team environment by working with the HR organization effectively to deliver value to our business partners. 
  • HR Service Delivery, Analytics & Reporting
  • Lead HR projects, such as process improvement, and policy development for the Manufacturing and Distillation network.
  • Utilize HR analytics and data-driven insights to inform HR strategies and decisions.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including HR management.
  • Past HRBP experience supporting functional VP’s and support functions
  • Must be able to analyze and interpret data to support recommendations for the HR function and client groups. 
  • Must possess the ability to overcome resistance to organizational change, influence all employees to embrace it, and lead the change initiative. 
  • Must be able to simultaneously prioritize and execute multiple projects based on business needs. 
  • Ability to manage both strategic and tactical execution of HR programs simultaneously 
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong ethical and professional integrity.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and compliance.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Experience in a fast paced environment
