The People Analytics & Insights function is responsible for delivering insights and solutions to PwC Leadership across a number of key people areas, including:employee performance, learning & development, retention, and engagement.

As a People Analytics and Insights Manager at PwC, you will work with data scientists and analysts to transform complex people data into actionable insights. Your work will directly influence strategic decision-making and initiatives, empowering leaders to make informed decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of both analytics and business strategy, bridging the gap between data and decision-making.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Lead and manage a team of analysts, overseeing the analysis of people data to provide meaningful reporting and extract valuable, actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business challenges and objectives, identifying how people data can drive strategic decisions.
  • Translate data findings into actionable insights and recommendations for HR and firm leadership.
  • Clearly articulate complex data-driven insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner, tailored to the audience.
  • Develop and implement robust analytics frameworks and methodologies to support ongoing and ad-hoc people analytics projects.
  • Foster a data-driven culture within the organisation, advocating for the use of empirical evidence in decision-making processes.
  • Mentor and develop team members, building analytical capabilities and a data-driven mindset across the wider team.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in people analytics and recommend innovations to enhance analytical capabilities.
  • Develop a methodology for assessing and responding to people data requests

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, HR, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in a managerial role within people analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in statistical analysis and data visualisation tools (e.g., R, Python,Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with a commitment to developing team members.
  • An understanding of HR processes, people data, and how they impact business outcomes.
  • Compliance with prevailing ethical standards
  • Understanding of professional services firms and business models 

Additional Job Description - Minimum Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics or business intelligence, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in people analytics or HR is desirable
