Job Summary:

As a Master Data Specialist, you will work in a strategic position, and be responsible for creation, maintenance, and management of the company data systems.

You will be part of the GG Nordics Master Data team, but also will have strong interactions with Product Development, Business Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, and others functions to ensure master data completeness, accuracy, readiness, and compliance.

This activity includes a great involvement into the data processes related to Bill-of-materials, Deliveries, Production schedules and Resources allocation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and update schedules in our ERP systems according to our customers or internal instructions.
  • Create and update materials in our ERP systems according to our customers or internal instructions.
  • Create and maintain Bill of Materials in the company ERP’s systems.
  • Create and update the regulatory framework in our ERP’s according to our customers instructions.
  • Maintain the resource allocation systems for materials and manpower.
  • Create and maintain packing and loading plans as per customer or internal instructions.
  • Create and maintain instructions to production.
  • Create and deliver sales price calculations.
  • Support new customers and products startup processes.
  • Secure data quality throughout the life cycle of products and proactively run data check routines to maintain a high level of data quality.
  • Review and correct errors in the existing master data to ensure that subsequent processes are enabled.
  • Handle internal and external feedback related to data quality, issues, and questions.
  • Work in close cooperation with the other local and regional support functions such as Product Development, Supply chain and Commercial.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline (e.g., Science or Business) or equivalent experience as Master Data Planner/Analyst/Specialist.

Work Experience:

  • 2-3 years’ experience working as Master Data Planner/Analyst/Specialist in a complex Data Management environment.
  • Experience on data management with focus on support to production or logistics processes.

Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Good user knowledge in at least one module of ERP systems is highly desirable (SAP, Navision, MS Dynamics, etc.)
  • Have an overall good understanding of ERP systems logic, structure, and databases.
  • Work in a systematic, methodological, and reliable way.

Personal / Soft skills:

  • Analytical, structured and problem solving oriented.
  • Empathetic, manage to put yourself in the customer’s skin.
  • Flexible and able to work under pressure.
  • Time Management, plan and prioritize tasks accordingly enabling to deliver on time and with high quality.
  • Self-starter attitude, able to work Independently, however preserving a strong Team player spirit.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Open to learn and change, always with an open-minded attitude.

Language Skills:

  • Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge in one of the Scandinavian languages (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian) spoken and/or written will be an advantage.
